"For the Love of Vintage" DIY

This week I edited my first video, which gave me a whole new found respect for all these beauty/fashion gurus who make it seem so easy to have a charming, well edited video up every week....It was frustrating to say the least, BUT I really wanted to show you a way to reconstruct an oversized vintage tee into a fitted crop top. So, If you're interested in a cute DIY, click on the link below these pics and it'll take you to the video! But, Before you go see it, Don't forget to read all the way down and read up on my Beauty must have & sincity treat to try. Enjoy:)

Beauty Must have:

Before & after blending the True Match powder

I've been obsessing lately over all the contouring techniques I see throughout social media pages, & honestly through all the excess info I get off of tutorials or beauty posts....one really stuck with me, it was from youtuber Nicole Guerriero, which you should watch if you haven't already, But my beauty obsession right now in terms of contouring is this L'oreal True match powder....For approx. $10, I thought this would be worth the try, So...I got it in the cocoa C8 color, and use it with this elf angled brush.I feel like there are 2 HUGE steps in contouring.

1.Pay attention to where the shadows & the light naturally hit your face, this will be your guide, So then you lighten the lighter areas with concealer & darken the shadow areas of your face with the true match powder.
2. This step is the most important....BLENDING! take a blending brush and blend it all together, until the stark lines are blended in, this will make it look natural!

Sinful treat to try:

Ok, if you're just as addicted to sweets as I am, here's a good one....Sweet Addiction. They have the infamous Thrifty Ice Cream, which I actually grew up eating, not only that but the have fresh baked cookies, and they build you the most perfect ice cream sandwich with the flavors of your choice, honestly I've been there several times now, & this time was the first time I got a sandwich, usually I over think it...feel like a fatty & skip the cookies....BUT I found out I've been missing out all this time, TRUST ME you want to try this ASAP! My all time fave is the Banana nut ice cream on Peanut butter cookies....excuse me while I drool. see shopping list below for their site & location.

Steal Vs. Luxe

I'm a sucker for beauty products, what girl isn't? But with so many options out there, it can get overwhelming! So I decided to dedicate one post a month to my favorite products, I have used both the Steal & Luxe products shown below. I listed short facts & personal opinions on Brow,Lip & tanning product. I really wanted to show you an affordable option as well as a luxury one, this way you can try my recommendations while sticking to your beauty budget. ENJOY & don't forget to see the shopping list below.

Can you guess if I'm wearing the Steal or the luxe product? Scroll to the bottom to See the answers.
Elf cosmetics Brow Kit and Anastasia of Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade
Verdict: I really like both, But if you're new to using Brow pomades, I recommend starting with the elf product, you might need to dip your brush more, but it has a better consistency for beginners, also use them with an angled brush.

WetNWild Megalast Liquid Lip Color & Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lip Color
Verdict: Huge fan of both! I actually tried the Kat Von D way before the wet n Wild brand, I honestly never thought I would find something like it especially as affordable,Thanks to my Fashionista friends Jade & Jerwin for the recommendation! warning: they are HIGHLY addictive, you'll want every color...another thing is that they both tend to dry out your lips, so definitely moisturize before & after using them.
Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs & Roxanne Rizzo Bronze Glow
Since I'm getting older, I try to keep sun exposure to a minimum, years ago I tried the sally Hansen product, and thought it was great...It really helped me get a little color in an emergency as well a little shimmer, This year I got the chance to try the Roxanne Rizzo Bronze Glow Spray, several things I liked about it...The floral smell, (not your typical spray tan smell) and the natural look it gave me...I'd say this is my summer MUST try  recommendation.
Lips: wet n wild Liquid lip color in " Red my mind"
Brows: Anastasia of Beverly Hills Dip brow Pomade in Ebony
Legs: 2 coats of Bronze glow, topped with 1 coat
of Sally Hansen Airbrush legs, for shimmer.

Flower Power DIY

Runway trends don't only have all of our attention, they have a hefty price tag too. Looking through the latest trends in spring accessories, I came across this gorg Burberry Flower clutch.....The more I looked the more I found that this textured clutch idea was amongst other  designer lines, the most affordable I found was at Anthropologie, for $58 So I decided to do a DIY, I thought for a price tag of $20.....It was well worth it.

    Things you'll need:
-Old clutch(I found one at Goodwill for $2.99)
-Glue gun & E600 (or any industrial glue)
       -2 silk hydrangeas(Michaels craft stores)
-Studs, rhinestones or pearls(for the centers)

Begin by Pulling each silk flower from it's stems carefully, Glue each flower to the bag with the glue gun starting with one edge,  slowly working your way towards the middle, and eventually finishing the entire side of the bag. once the flowers are glued down, Glue the centers of your choice with the industrial glue....I chose gold studs, but you can use rhinestones, pearls, beads etc. Repeat on other side, let it dry overnight & Presto it's ready to wear!

It seriously takes about 30 min of your time, But in the end you have a true designer inspired statement piece, that will  wow the crowd, without breaking the bank!

My SinCity treat to try this week:
Sugar Bee's Bakery in Southwest Las Vegas! I know what you're thinking...Damn Patty eats a lot of

desserts! What can I say? I 'm addicted to sugar, But At least I admit it. A customer mentioned that there was a small bakery across the street from the shop called Sugar bee's....So I went in and purchased a slice of red velvet cake which was yummy & this Banana tart, OMG it was HEAVEN! I actually warmed it a little and the middle was moist while the outside was crusty.....I absolutely 100% recommend it, You know for those days you're craving a little sugar.
